Know why markets move.

The move is only half the story.

TickWhy is a market research website that connects significant price moves with relevant reporting and market context. Each explanation separates the available evidence from what remains uncertain.

What can I use TickWhy for?

Start with market moves to see which tracked assets are moving. Open an asset to read its price context and available research, or open an event for a dated explanation with links to its evidence.

Investment themes group related companies so you can explore an idea such as AI infrastructure across multiple stocks. Scores describe available observations, not expected returns.

A watchlist lets you follow assets and configure alerts. Supported devices can receive Web Push after you opt in. Public research does not require an account.

How is this different from a price tracker?

TickWhy starts with the question “Why did this move?” and brings the explanation, confidence, sources and related theme context into one place. It is not a brokerage, an execution platform or a buy/sell signal service.

Does TickWhy always know the cause?

No. News and prices moving at the same time do not prove causation. When relevant evidence is insufficient, TickWhy says that no clear catalyst has been identified. An automated explanation can be incomplete or incorrect.

Read our methodology and data limitations before relying on a score or explanation. TickWhy provides informational market analysis, not investment advice.
